- CWCasey WilliamsApr 5, 20261.0On Sunday April 5th approximately between 6:30 and 6:45 pm I walked in to buy beer and tried using the ID scanner, which never works properly. No my ID is not defaced in any way or damaged. A woman cashier walks up to me as I'm displaying my frustration about the technology She stated sarcastically "well it's not my fault" and just walks of without providing assistance. Nor did the other male cashier standing behind her. After 2 or 3 minutes I finally got the scanner to read and got into the coolers finally. Before I left (same cashier) she checked me out coldly and I clarified nobody was blaming her for the scanner malfunctioning. She then attempted to publicly embarrass me by embellishing on the incident with another customer who was standing at the counter. I hate quicktrip and I'll be using maverik gas stations from now on because at least they can be trusted to card minors instead of having to rely on faulty technology. Plus I've never been treated as such by a maverik employee. This particular cashier is always like this so par for the course.
