- RARae AdamsOct 20, 20255.0I was having truck trouble, so I went to O'Reilly's this morning. They read the code and as I was driving home my truck died, died and died again. I pulled into 4 Star Tire (Red Fork) and Bobby recommended Kevin at TILT Mobile Mechanic. Kenvon's day was full but when he realized I only have one vehicle he worked me into the schedule. He told me up front what his service call/diagnostic cost would be. I figured I had a choice - pay for mobile service with the possibility of it being fixed on the spot ; or pay for towing - but, to where? I had already walked home so Keven swung by and picked up the key (!) I think he gave up his lunch break to help me, without ever meeting me before. Anyway, he used his fabulous computer to diagnose the problem right in the parking lot where my truck sat dead in the water. He called and explained the problem, the cost of the part, the cost of labor and how long it would take. He had already found the needed part and then he Asked me First if I wanted him to go ahead and fix it. I said, Yes. We discussed ways I could pay and about 40 minutes later he pulled into my driveway In My Truck. We took it for a test drive on the highway and it was back to its dependable Nissan Frontier self. He explained the warranty and we drove back to his van parked where he had done the repair. I paid and he even gave Bobby a tip for referring him. He said his goal is repeat business. I will keep his card on the fridge and refer all my friends who need car repair. I have a Car Guy! Thanks so much, Kevin!
