The two older day shift ladies here and unfathomably racist!
I've grown up in a rich white neighborhood, 14 years in the Army, tons of work in the community. You've probably even seen me on the news (usually twice a year on channel 6, 8, & 23). On the phone, nobody would even guess I'm black. The kindest soul you've ever met.
They refused to check if I had a free drink even though I showed them the app. I responded no worries ma'am, sorry to waste your fountain drink and put it back at the drink station and just got my gas. They still charged me for the fountain, as an icee (more expensive) and that took away from the little I had for gas. I'm disabled from the military.
As I walked away, they both chuckled and one called me the n word. I turned and said "come again ma'am" and she just said your done you can leave...
Maverik is amazing, especially the deals, but due to these phenomenal, stand-up citizens, you should avoid this one all together.
I will be pursuing acquiring the footage and recording, hopefully just to get these ladies into some customer service training. Not trying to ruin lives because humans should stick together. Racism in this day and age is completely unacceptable!

I would like to start by saying I don't typically have issues with this location. I stopped in tonight after work to break a hundred dollar bill.
When I arrived at the store at approximately 1:00 am, the store was very much empty. A few minutes passed by and a lady walked in from the back, I think she was smoking or something, either way, it doesn't matter; a unmanned and understaffed store that absolutely reflects badly on the mavrik franchise. When I asked the attendant if she could break a hundred, she asks if I was going to buy anything. I told her that I could buy something and it wouldn't be an issue. She then proceeded to tell me she didn't have enough change to break a hundred. So I left. Just a bad experience in general.
