    I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately my experience with Safelite AutoGlass was extremely frustrating and disruptive. I scheduled a mobile windshield replacement appointment for Monday between 12–5 p.m. and took time off work to be home. Around 4:40 p.m., when no one had arrived, I called to confirm the status. After being placed on hold multiple times, I was eventually transferred to the local shop manager, Drew, who informed me that the part had not even arrived and that someone should have called me. No one ever did. Drew said he would follow up with me the next day. Tuesday came and went with no communication. When I called on Wednesday, he stated he was “about to call me,” which felt unlikely given the lack of follow-through so far. He explained the windshield had been mistakenly sent to another city and that they were now working to expedite shipping. While I appreciate the eventual effort, the appointment should never have been scheduled without the part being available in the first place. Because mobile service was no longer an option, I later brought my vehicle to the shop. After waiting three hours — and well past closing time — the technicians were still unable to successfully calibrate the vehicle. The technician was clearly frustrated, and the process felt disorganized. I requested a calibration report (per my insurance company’s guidance), but no one knew how to provide one. At that point, we declined payment since the service was incomplete. Rescheduling was also difficult. They initially could not enter my work address correctly because it was outside their service area. Eventually the address was entered with the wrong city and I was told a note would be added — which did not inspire confidence given the earlier communication issues. Thankfully, when the follow-up mobile calibration appointment finally happened, the technician Brett was professional, communicative, and kept me updated via text. He ultimately resolved the issue, though it took another 2.5 hours and required him to contact technical support because the calibration instructions were incorrect. In the end, my vehicle was repaired — but the overall experience involved missed communication, scheduling issues, incomplete service, and significant inconvenience, including taking unnecessary time off work. I hope this feedback helps improve coordination and customer communication in the future.

    I scheduled my appointment for next day service, the process was simple and easy to understand. My technician arrived on time and was very professional and did a great job leaving no mess and a perfect windshield behind. I highly recommend!
