  I brought my Jeep to Warfel Auto Body in January 2023. They kept my vehicle for over three months. From the beginning, dealing with Mike was extremely difficult and stressful. At one point, Mike called me yelling and threatening to break the wheel locks off at my expense, refusing to listen while I tried to explain where the key was located in the vehicle. This call occurred while I was at the hospital with my terminally ill mother, which made the situation even more upsetting. When I finally got the Jeep back, it still had problems. Because Mike is so rude and hard to deal with, I took the vehicle to several other shops instead. I later learned that although he was paid for a new axle housing, he installed a used part, and the gears were incorrect, which was diagnosed at another shop. There was a three-way call with Mike and my insurance company where he said he would look at it, but he was also rude and unprofessional toward the insurance representative. I delayed bringing it back because: We don’t have a backup vehicle for my daughter, and Mike is the rudest person I have ever dealt with. The Jeep had to be towed back to his shop on 1/31/26 because the brakes lock up while driving. I also have a written diagnosis from another shop stating the vehicle needs a wheel bearing. On 2/18/26, Mike called and said he took the vehicle to his friend’s shop, claimed there was nothing wrong with the vehicle, and told me I am responsible for paying that shop. This charge was never discussed or authorized. He was supposed to be correcting the work he had already been paid to do. He should have contacted me before sending my vehicle anywhere that would result in additional charges. He then stated that he “doesn’t do this type of work,” which raises the question of why he accepted the job in the first place. The invoices don’t match what he did . He told one shop that he put in a new front end and I was difficult to work with . The shop wanted to check other stuff that could be causing the brakes to lock up while driving and Warfel said no he doesn’t care about that he only wanted the gears checked . If he had need honest work this mechanic he would have figured out what the problem is because I’m sure he knows it’s his original work that is messed up and he doesn’t went to back up his work. My daughter drives this jeep. How sad that he would risk the life of a customer to not back up his work. Shame on you Mr Mike . Just hope no one does that to your child’s car . He is now refusing to release my vehicle unless I pay his friend’s shop. Given the unresolved brake issue and conflicting diagnoses, I am questioning whether the vehicle was even taken elsewhere. Finally got my jeep back still broken . Mike demanded I pay cash and have a police officer . He called the police and I took cash. Another big ol boy in his office started saying rude stuff to me so the officer had to tell him to stop .Then Mr Mike didn’t have change and the officer even said “ really “. So not sure why he felt he needed the police … he’s the one that spoke to me rude. He also lied when he sent my jeep out to another shop so he didn’t have to fix what he “ fixed” to begin with . I found a good shop and I’m sure they wont be sending business his way since he spoke to that bad as well. He is a very angry aggressive man and talks horrible to women. I do not recommend this shop. The work was not properly backed up; unauthorized charges were incurred, and the customer service was unacceptable.
