Brought my truck in to get some dashboard switches or a body controller communication issue fixed. Had the parts in stock and instead of having me in and out of the shop in one day, you decided to find some technicality to try to stretch it out to three days. SMH. You suck. Furthermore y'all claim that your company policy is that y'all cannot change settings on the Bendix collision mitigation system. Prior to bringing it to you all I spent a few days in the shop and almost 2800 on diagnostics and parts swapping to try to get Bendix to quit locking the brakes up for no reason. The best we could come up with was turn the adaptive cruise control off. Then I showed up here to get to switches / body controller issue fixed. You take it upon yourselves without even asking me to turn the collision mitigation system back up sensitivity wise and turn the adaptive cruise control system back up. At this point as far as I'm concerned, International Navistar is trying to kill me! See video below. Also see attached photo of a kind of routine load I haul. Beams!!!! Should this Bendix CRAP happen while I am hauling a load of beams like that, IT WILL KILL ME WHEN IT COMES THROUGH THE CAB.

I brought my International 4300 to Holt International in Oklahoma City, OK after a catastrophic engine failure that occurred just hours after service at their Wichita Falls, TX branch. My purpose in going to the OKC location was to have the cause of the breakdown evaluated — an issue clearly tied to the valve adjustment and service work done by their own sister location only days earlier. Rather than treating this as a warranty or internal remediation matter, the Oklahoma City branch handled it as a completely new job and charged me for diagnosing the failed work of another Holt facility. This decision was frustrating enough, but it was compounded by their lack of responsiveness. I repeatedly requested that the OKC branch coordinate with Wichita Falls to resolve the issue without adding costs to me. Those requests were ignored or met with silence. There was no acknowledgment of the link between the prior service and the failure, nor any effort to seek a resolution that would take responsibility for the work performed under the Holt International name. The OKC branch’s approach effectively left me paying twice — once in Wichita Falls for work that immediately failed, and again in Oklahoma City for them to confirm that failure — with no resolution or accountability from either location. In my experience, Holt International Oklahoma City demonstrated poor customer service, an unwillingness to address clear inter-branch responsibility, and a lack of concern for fairness. If a breakdown occurs due to work performed by another Holt facility, customers should not be left with a second bill and no path to resolution. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Holt International Oklahoma City and strongly advise anyone in a similar situation to seek service from an independent shop willing to stand behind their findings and assist in remediation.

Avoid Holt Truck Center in Oklahoma. I sent a driver just to get an estimate for replacing a bad A/C compressor I even told them we already diagnosed it at another shop. Instead, they came back with a ridiculous $3000 estimate, and when I declined, they charged us $400 just for “diagnostics” again. Total scam. Stay away from these clowns.
