Interestingly enough, the check engine light was a P0191 code; fuel rail pressure sensor low, that I had checked out at the local auto parts store before contacting the Bob Moore Kia service department. After towing my Kia to the dealership; on Saturday 11/1/25, with my AAA membership, I checked in my Sorento to the service department. The service advisor confirmed the presence of a Check Engine Light and asked if I would like the complimentary car wash service. I received a call from the service advisor Monday morning, on 11/3/25. He mentioned that his technician was unable to see a service code. Undoubtedly, Bob Moore Kia management instructed the technician to delete the service code. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of the CEL and the code reader diagnosis at the auto parts store. I just enjoy wasting my time and AAA benefit when my primary daily driver doesn't indicate trouble! šµāš« After picking up my Sorento it was apparent that they hadn't run my car through a speedy wash. It looked like the service manager had a technician use a damp napkin from a fast food restaurant to wipe down the car before I picked it up. Be aware that a warranty is an agreement between the auto manufacturer and the purchaser. In the case of Bob Moore Kia Northwest, they begrudgingly honor the warranty and do the minimum service needed. Mission accomplished! I will NEVER return to Bob Moore Kia Northwest for a vehicle or service. I suggest you do the same.
