I am very satisfied with my service there. The man that helped me also helped me put the air filter in my car. Since I was having trouble on my own. He was excellent! Even got my hood to go down after the dealership service center could not.

Not a good experience. I had a 3 year warrantied battery that needed replacement just over a year after purchase. Store tested it and said it was a good battery. My mechanic disagreed, in addition to when the store tried claiming the alternator might be the problem. I asked the store to test 3 batteries (they said they only had three Duralast Golds/800 in stock....which was suspect). The first one showed corrosion on the terminal, and none of the 3 tested above a 77% charge. One store rep tested the replacement battery and claimed it was at a 100% charge...twice. I asked for the tester printout. It showed 76% He and the store manager claimed it was a "technician's error" in reading their own equipment results, saying it appeared to them that the 800 amp rating looked to them like 100%. That raised my suspicions, but I needed my vehicle and needed Autozone to honor the 3 year warranty, so I accepted the 76% battery, but I kindly assured the manager that I'd be writing Autozone HQ about my customer experience and suggest more care in reading their own equipment and releasing batteries that are already significantly drained (I'm awaiting HQ's response, but it may be that the store in keeping batteries on the shelf longer than advisable, or recharging other customers' batteries and sending them out as replacements). Incidentally, I went to Costco hours later, and their store said they'd never release a battery, new or replacement, to a customer with test readings as low as Autozone's.
