An employee then proceeded to try to convince me that I wouldn’t be able to get a car battery any cheaper than $350 anywhere which was a bold faced lie because I got a new battery for $189 the next day somewhere else. I left this establishment feeling very much disrespected and almost taken advantage of had I not known how much car batteries cost.

Was told by the original service technician that the total cost with shop fees would be about $40 out the door. When the service was finished, a different technician told me the total was $90! They put in synthetic oil instead of the house oil that the coupon called for. Which is something I DID NOT request at the time the information was put in the computer. I told the technician I would be happy to wait while they drained the vehicle and refilled it with the oil the coupon specified. I was told that couldn't be done. The best they could do is charge me $80 for something they messed up. I informed them that when I make mistakes like that at work, *I* am the one that has to own that. You did not honor your own coupon, took it upon yourself to use something I didn't ask for, and then had the temerity to charge me for your mistake AND when I told you that it needed to be fixed you said that it wouldn't be possible. I left without a receipt because I don't intend on using them again for any of the vehicles I own. If you want to use this Jiffy Lube, make sure you get your quote IN WRITING before they put a drop of oil in the car or you're going to own whatever they do. I'm not sure if their franchisee is aware of what they're doing but I doubt it's in line with the values that Jiffy Lube claims to uphold.
