- GWGustin WilliamsNov 7, 20251.0I had to go through Enterprise for a rental vehicle due to total loss on my personal vehicle, all was well until I was headed home and struck a deer on the highway, upon calling enterprise to advise them on what happened I was told there was nothing to worry about and that I could visit Enterprise the next day to get a replacement vehicle. I called enterprise the next morning to confirm that they had a vehicle and was told I would have to pay a $500 deductible to them in order in order to get into said vehicle, I contacted my insurance company and was advised the enterprise offers protection plans as an add on BY MY PERSONAL INSURANCE COMPANY not enterprise this was not something that was brought up during my interactions with the salesman, imagine my disbelief when I found out I was not informed of this by the company that was renting me the car, now I’m stuck paying a $500 deductible because somebody didn’t do their job properly. My advice to anyone who is thinking about renting a vehicle from Enterprise would be to make sure you are informed about all of your options and read the contract thoroughly before you sign anything. I’ve already had to pay a $500 deductible to my personal insurance for my total loss and now I’m stuck paying an additional $500 deductible to a company that I feel did not take my customer experience into consideration.
