- KAKristie Autrey2 days ago1.0I stopped in around 10:00 PM on Thursday, January 8th. I grabbed a few bottled drinks while my son got a fountain drink. When we walked up to the register, there was still a customer standing there, so we stood behind him to wait in line. That customer had already been checked out, and the male cashier was holding a phone with his full attention on it, talking about a gamer tag. After a few minutes, the customer moved his items and motioned for me to place mine on the register to the right of him. Never acknowledging my presence, the cashier continued on the phone for at least another minute before finally handing the customer, I assume, his phone back. Without even an apology or explanation to what had just happeend he logged into the register, adjusting the cash drawer, and then began to check me out. As a local who visits this store regularly, I found this behavior extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. What the cashier didn’t know was that I had just come home from Tulsa after spending the day in the ICU with a very sick family member. I was exhausted and just wanted to grab drinks for my family quickly and get home. This store serves both locals and travelers, many of whom may be dealing with difficult situations. At the very least, customers deserve attentiveness and a simple greeting. I hope this behavior is addressed, as it is unacceptable.

- DBD BAug 25, 20251.0The lady got very rude to me when I told her I did not want to do all that pump authorization and codes to access my fuel. I AM NOT AN EMPLOYEE they are instituting things into their procedures that makes me "safer" (IT IS NOT SAFER ITS A WAY TO MAKE YOU THE CUSTOMER WORK MORE) but wastes my time, makes ME WORK MORE, its akin to being your own self check out at the store, YOU ARE NOT PAYING ME TO DO EXTRA WORK I am paying YOU for a job, do NOT hand me paper work to force me to do more work simply to get my fuel!! I parked, I shopped, I paid for fuel THEN I am being instructed on how to access my fuel instead of them authorizing the pump to start so I can fuel up!! She got VERY rude with me as soon as I said I didn't like this and didn't want to do all of that. WILL NEVER EVER COME BACK TO A MAVERICK UNLESS IVE NOT OTHER CHOICE. The coffee was terrible too.
