  Absolutely shameful behavior from the staff at Mavericks in Coweta, especially Terry and Chris. My husband, a disabled veteran, has always used a photocopy of his tax-exempt documentation with no issues at this location or anywhere else. But today, he was not only denied his rightful tax exemption over a measly $1.75, he was humiliated and kicked out of the store. Terry decided that today was the day to disrespect a man who served his country and lives with the consequences. Instead of handling the situation with basic decency or understanding, she treated him with open hostility and told him to leave. All over $1.75. To deny a disabled vet the respect he deserves, especially over something so petty, is disgraceful. Mavericks should be ashamed to employ people who treat our veterans this way. This wasn’t just bad customer service. It was mean-spirited, unnecessary, and downright disgusting. Veterans and their families: be warned. This place doesn’t respect you.

  No doubt a beautiful store. The self check out machines add another level of convenience. All I can say about those machines is that there is o e les person employed in the community.
