- SSSamantha ShepherdAug 27, 20181.0I rented a Pontoon boat for back to school for my family to enjoy. The boat was way to slow for such a big Lake with high intense waves and Yachts in the water. This was not told to me when I reserved the boat. I have been on many lakes and oceans in a Pontoon boat and didnt have this issue. The front gate of the boat wouldn't latch was broken so everytime we hit a big wave the boat was engulfed with so much water it looked as if we could sink! My mom and kids were so scared because of the amount of water and how the front of the boat was submerged with water they stayed at the back of the boat and it wasnt enjoyable. The people were very friendly but my advice is to not rent any Pontoon boat here you will need a speed boat. I feel that when you run a business on this lake you shouldn't rent out boats that aren't made for this kind of water. Also my son took his shirt and tied the front gate to help with the water coming inside the boat! REMEMBER UNLESS YOU WANT PTSD YOU BETTER RENT A SPEED BOAT.
