A screen showed a safety message once you started to drive. The bright big message showed until you put a right hand finger on 'OK' while driving. I should have had a friendly from someone before starting. I did not use the sceen until i drove a friend to a store and she used the screen to get music. Later, I found the place to change the volume and never used the screen again. I am too old for this kind of car or I should have had some directions on where to find things i normally use. I needed help before I got behind the wheel by myself. This is not the first time I had a similar situation. My brother died in Florida. My sister and I flew to Florida and rented a car. We had a similar situation with a big screen. However, my sister took care of the screen and I took care of avoiding an accident. There has to be an answer for all the messages while driving. I have a remote in my 2019 Chevy. When I click the lock symbol, the doors lock. In the car I drove, I had a similar symbol. When I clicked the symbol, the side outdoor mirrors turned in. No doors locked. I never did find out why no doors locked. The car was comfortable and the climate control was set just right. The car had a Florida license which helped. This way my hesitations with stops, starts, and lane changes could be explained because I was from out of state.
