- JTJohn Taylor3 days ago1.0My wife has been taking our car there for the past 2 yrs i thought it was all good until her turbo went out so i decided to take a day off work to fix it as a mechanic wants 2k to do it. Well part of the changes is you have to changes engine oil which is no problem she goes there because i work 12 to 15 hrs a day. Well when it came time to change the oil i used 4 different filter wrenchs to try to get the filter off had to actually drive a screw driver through the lower middle of the filter to pry it off. Makes me wonder have they been changing the filter because no way should an oil filter take a screw driver through it to come off. I will never take my car there again. Wish there was a way to tell how old the filter actually is. Did they cost me a grand by not changing it causing my turbo to quit due to gunk in it? Never never again will i trust any valvoline again.

I got a different car and was not sure when the oil needed changed. I came to the Elm Rd location and they told me to come back in about 2500 miles. I will always trust this place now, for sure! Plus this place is appropriately staffed! Cannot say enough about it and recommend it to anyone needing services provided!

He answered everyone of my questions and all my concerns about the belts under the hood of my vehicle and changing my filter and Valvoline was unfortunately not able to take care of my belts, but he gave me a card with his name on it for next-door for a recommendation on where to go to get a good deal on belts for my vehicle. To me that is going above and beyond.

The assistant general manager, JJ, he is a great guy and made sure I was up to date on things that I need done on my car. These guys work hard and I appreciate them.
