- JMJosh M2 days ago1.0They took my car to repair and must of found more damage. my insurance chose to total it out and I had 500 deductible, I put 280 down that day for the repair and pay the rest when I pick it up. I expected my money back in return. Lady says 3 to 6 months to get reimbursed and there's no one I can contact about that money I just have to wait. It's been 9 months. Not a peep. I would advise whoever goes to Gerber do not give them any money until the work is done.

- TFTom FletcherSep 19, 20251.0I was in an accident caused by another person, and their insurance sent me here to get my repairs done. Everything was going to be paid by the other person's insurance. This is important to remember. I dropped my car off and went over where the damage was and what I wanted done. The 3 things I was worried about the most was a bent wheel, broken wheel well liner, and the vibration in the tire when I drove. When I picked it up they said everything was done and the old parts were in the trunk. After driving it once to work I realized they hadn't put the old liner, or any liner at all, back into the wheel well. Since it was missing the front bumper was unstable and the bottom cover of the bumper was dragging on the ground on the driver side. I called in and was told they were booked for a couple days and I had to wait. Once I brought it back in the person in charge of my repairs said he wanted to replace the entire bumper to make it like it was pre accident, but I told him not to. Once I heard that I was floored. I told him specifically I wanted the liner put back in when I dropped off the car. Why in the world would I not want to fully repair my car WHEN IT WAS LITERALLY GOING TO COST ME NOTHING. I even had a rental for the duration of the repairs so time wasn't a factor either. To try and put the blame on me for their mistakes is crazy. But even worse is he said they could repair the liner if I had time to wait, and after a half hour they brought my car around and I can't make this up, he told me my liner and bumper are broken but they put it in anyway and zip tied the bottom to the bumper. So now my liner is being held in place with one singular plastic zip tie. Then he had the nerve to tell me that the survey is going to ask if I had to bring it back a second time and technically I should put no since they did nothing wrong the first time and it's my fault for not being more clear about what needed repaired. It's my fault they saw the front driver side of my bumper dangling while they changed the tire and decided that was fine. I should return it a third time to get it fixed correctly but I'm worried that I'll get it back in worst condition. The receptionist was nice though.
