  I scheduled an oil change and a coolant change. The folks at Monro checked my coolant and said it didn't need to be changed. Bravo for the honesty.

  I was told tires couldn't go on, that the rims were too big. I said they're the same tires that I have on the front. He told me the rims were bigger on the back and to use those tires I would need a rim that was narrower. I initially took his word for it and started shopping around at junkyards for rims. I decided to take it to another shop and sure enough, the tires went on no problem. Turns out, the rims on the front were the exact same size as the rears. So I was lied to or mislead. I was about to spend hundreds more dollars and have mismatched rims because of this. Terrible service. A simple no we can't do it would have sufficed. But being told rims are different sizes when in fact they were not is bad practice. Do better Monroe! I will not be returning there.

  I called and needed a tire patched and said they could squeeze me in even though they were busy and short handed. Very nice to deal with and a nice facility.

  I regretfully have to say this was the worst oil change experience of my life. I scheduled an appointment for 7:30am. The tech was 25mins late, making me even more late to work. Then the store manager tried to upsell me into purchasing a new oil pan & bolt for $750. Gave me a huge scare saying the oil could leak. I asked if there was any signs of it previously leaking, he said no. He blamed my previous mechanic for ripping the threads off the bolt. I eventually convinced him just to replace the bolt only (which he charged me $27). But I thought he was going to have to order parts so I was calling around for a ride. There was so much unnecessary stress for a simple oil change. I ended up being charged $187. When I left and looked at the receipt there were added extra charges ($15.60 to discard a 1in bolt). And still unclear why I was charged so much. I feel like I got robbed. Will never go there again.

  They mounted a tire for me that I already had. Charged me $45. Took them 10 minutes. Should have been $25 at most. Their prices are outrageous. They wanted $98 for a synthetic oil change and tried talking to me like it was a good deal. I can purchase the oil and filter for $25. $73 for labor on an oil change is outrageous also. I will keep changing my own oil.
