This place is a normal Pilot-Flying J truck stop. The employees are friendly, helpful, and (mostly) willing to meet one’s needs. The truck parking lot is medium size, so getting here at 0200, as I have, will present a driver with special problems that we have all experienced. They have all the normal food items, a large selection of trucker-related goods—though if you are not a Cleveland fan, you won’t find much apparel that isn’t branded—and the most popular ground coffee in the nation, organic Sumatra! What’s not to love? Eat well, driver. Eat well. There is bobtail parking, both special slots and along the curb, but do get here early enough to find one.

I hate to do this because when I travel North, this is normal my first stop, but the ATM in this store will rob you. I made a withdrawal for $200, and there was a $4.95 withdrawal fee. How is it that my bank statement shows I withdrawn the amount of $204.95, and the $4.95 fee wasn't on a separate line as the fee... This is the kicker. Not only that but I was also charged three other transactions! $3.00 balance fee $3.00 withdrawal fee $3.00 balance fee In the end I was charged 13.95 in fees Never, ever again!!!!

Today I was going to have to stop for my 10 hour break at a place with no facilities, so I stopped to get some food before heading there. I grabbed a salad for later and proceeded to the front to get some hot food and check out. There was only one person in line so I stood in front of the food warmer and waited patiently while the cashier was ringing up her customer. She made eye contact with me, and continued scanning. Cool, she knows I'm here. She finished that transaction, at which point I expected her to come help me so I could check out. She instead began helping someone else. No big deal. I wasn't really in a hurry. While that was going on another employee came over to stock more food, and never said a word to me. Then the cashier looks at me again and says "if you want food from there, you'll have to get in line". I then became frustrated. Why did she not say anything at all when she looked directly at me the first time?! I turned to get in line, and there were now FIVE people in line! I walked to the back, put back what I was going to buy and left. I want to say what's on my mind, but I'll refrain. I'm now sitting in a dirt lot without any food for 10 hours, because this lady has no concept of customer service. Thank for your help... just kidding. If my company didn't make me fuel there, I would never go back to a Pilot/Flying J. I certainly will be stopping elsewhere for everything else though.
