- TJT J2 days ago1.0Went in to purchase a part that was over $300. I informed the associate I was an employee and asked about my discount. He went to search using my phone number and could not find my information in the system. I informed him he could enter my employee number and verify my id and the system would automatically accept it if you are an active employee. He indicated he could not give me a discount no matter what because he couldn’t find it by my phone number. I had to leave and go to a competitor because a worker was very incompetent and didn’t know how or try to look up a current employee. Would not recommend this location to anyone.

He sold me the correct belt, found a serpentine rental tool I would need, and took the time to print out belt routing diagrams for help. When I had problems putting the belt on he found a local mechanic I could call. Matt was one of the best parts counter person I have worked with in years, and I totally appreciate his help, What Sure

They came outside and did all of the labor to replace it (which was quite a bit for this vehicle). It was 44 degrees and not pleasant weather. They were kind and professional through the whole process. It was very quick and efficient - they made my day a whole lot easier :)

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
