    Safelite is trash. I've used them multiple times now and there's always a problem. This latest time I had a small chip in my windshield. They came to fix it and said it was good and it tha t it wouldnt spread. The chip looked exactly the same after they fixed it but the repairman assured me it was good and wouldnt spread. The very next day the chip split across the entire windshield. I tried to get a refund because it was the 3rd time I've had to replace the windshield and its a $1500 windshield so I didnt want to pay to replace it again. They said they could only credit me for a windshield replacement instead of giving me a refund. I never would have needed a windshield replacement if they had done the job right the first time. I've used safelite 3 times in the past 5 years and everytime there's an issue. Save yourself the trouble. Go somewhere else.

    I was recommended to Safelite by my Farmers car insurance co. My appointment was set up by Farmers. I had a chip in my front windshield. I was told I could have the chip repaired at no cost to me. However, the repair caused my windshield to crack. I was not told that this could happen. So now I have to replace my windshield costing me a $ 500.00 deductible. Neither Safelite or Farmers insurance will eat the cost of my deductible. Does this seem fair? Went in with a chip and left with a crack. Great job Safe lite!
