I stopped in today, clearly saying, "Can we use the battery tester, we think we have an alternator or battery issue?". I was told bluntly, its out of service. Fair enough. Then I asked for an obd2 reader. Also out of service somehow. Meanwhile there is an orange multimeter sitting in front of him. He did not remotely try to help. I just left and went to orielys 5 minutes away in evendale. They spent 5 minutes testing it, battery was clearly bad, and boom $300 battery sold. I aint expecting white glove treatment, but brushing off a customer off on such an easy issue and sale is mindblowing. I recognize the multimeter as I have the same one I have from Amazon, an orange dt-830d , if someone tries to claim this story is bs.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
