I'm not really sure how other tire companies are in business with Tire Discounters in the area. These people know their business so well. I felt like a king driving out of there. My tires look great! The car feels like new again. The bonuses they add in have my mind spinning. I'm a huge fan. Came home and bragged to my wife how great they are, so I had to leave this review too.

I am so very impressed with Bill and the team at Tire Discounters in Powell. I have been there twice with problems with my car. The first time I was on my way back home from work. I had over a half an hour drive. I went in very concerned about the oil in my car. A very kind technician drove my car , topped of the oil and ensured me it was fine to drive home. When I asked what I owed he would not take a cent. The second time I took my car in for them to fix. They looked it over and called me. It would unfortunately cost a lot and they encouraged me to take it back to the company who did the work before. When I asked how much I owed them for their services he would not take a cent even for their time. I highly recommend you take your car to them. They are highly ethical and extremely kind. Thank you for all you did for me.
Sincerely,
Kara Wood

I went to this location to have four new tires installed after scheduling the service online for about $500. When I arrived, Caleb told me the total would be an extra $100 because I did not have their store credit card. That explanation did not make sense, but I paid it. Later, when I reviewed the paperwork, I saw the extra charge was for a road hazard warranty I never requested and that was never explained to me.
Within just a few days, both front tires wore out unusually fast, most likely because of an alignment issue. The shop replaced them but still charged me labor fees. I was also supposed to receive a complimentary oil change with the tire purchase. They claimed it had been done, but when I checked later, it clearly had not. They also told me the premature tire wear was caused by bad wheel bearings, an issue that reputable shops usually point out and recommend fixing before installing new tires.
When I asked about repairing the wheel bearings, I was quoted around $1,100. I asked whether that price included the hub, but he could not give me a clear answer. He only added that it might cost $1,500 or more if the hub was needed. At that point, I went to another Tire Discounter location. They repaired the wheel bearing and hub for under $1,000, they showed much higher level of professionalism and integrity, they explained that something had not been tightened correctly, which likely caused the bearing failure. That explanation made sense, especially since I had recently replaced one of the front bearings.
The #1 cause of uneven or rapid tire wear is misalignment. Your vehicle also may pull to one side or feel "loose" when steering, and you might even observe a drop in fuel economy. Alignment is critical to tire life and vehicle safety. In fact, if you install new tires on a misaligned vehicle, some manufacturers won't even honor your tire warranty. Everyday driving, potholes, hard turns, and sudden stops, gradually knock your wheels out of alignment. This wear is natural, but it can quickly chew through your tires. That's why Tire Discounters includes a FREE alignment ($129.99 value) when you purchase 4 tires installed. It's just another way we help you get more life (and more value) out of your tires.
