The employees seemed too busy or distracted to help me. Waited for a half an hour to hear about financing options. Was told they would try the bank again. Waited over another hour. Was told 2 pr 3 minutes more. Another 10 go by and I had to leave to pick up my son. Couldn’t find the man helping me. So told receptionist I had to leave and when he came back to have him call or email me. Nothing. Also the first sales rep was not able to be there on my appointment but had told me the camper I was looking at would be cleaned up. It was not.

Negotiated a deal on Sunday with a 6000$ trade in for our current camper. Got there on Thursday to ink the deal, pulling our current camper out of its permanent spot, and emptying. Our camper was pulled into a back through spot and required much finagling on our part to get it out. When we arrived, the new camper had a couple small issues they agreed to fix. Kept us sitting there for almost two hours with no communication. Then pulled us into the office and stated our current camper had issues which were all disclosed with representatives of the dealership on Sunday. They then reappraised our camper at $1500 dollars. Told them we had already secured our own financing at the agreed upon price. Told us we had to either agree to front the remaining $4500 on the spot, or we could try their financing. Told them the fact they were giving us $6000 for our current camper was a large motivator of the deal and that at $1500 we would just keep it until it fell into disrepair. Sales Manager walked out to "talk to someone about what they could do." After 5 minutes, we just got up and retrieved the keys to our current camper, and went to leave. At this time, we found them still working on the new camper, and as was clearly evidenced, the new camper had more serious issues than was previously thought, none of which was communicated to us. Avoid Camper's World and their shady business practices.

Drove 2 hours to look at a camper after getting borderline harassed with multiple calls a day from the salesman. Should’ve taken that as my first red flag.
Got there and they didn’t even bother opening the slide or hooking up power. Basically “here it is… good luck.” Solid sales strategy.
Salesman was real aggressive about using their financing too because apparently “no” just means “ask again later.”
Against my better judgment (and because my wife and kids liked it), I bought it.
Pickup day? The guy who blew up my phone for weeks suddenly disappeared. Not a single “thanks,” handshake, or even a “good luck figuring it out.” No walkthrough, no explanation nothing.
Shoutout to the service department though they actually did their job:
Fixed the broken breakaway cable
Replaced locks when they didn’t have keys
Now for the rest of the circus:
They pressure-washed off all the important labels (dump valves, water hookups… you know, stuff you actually need)
Missing a window screen
Zero orientation on the camper
And the best part? By the time I got it home, BOTH master bedroom doors fell off and destroyed the paneling. Didn’t even make it one trip.
This is my third camper, so I’m not new—but this was easily the worst buying experience I’ve had.
Service team = great
Sales experience = absolute joke
As for the camper (Forest River), 2/5 stars. Built like it was assembled on a Friday at 4:59.
Would I buy from them again? Not a chance.
