I purchased the headlight in elyria but they didnt help me with anything but between that purchase and me needing to purchase another bulb for my rear light. He was able to come out and help. It was raining and the manufactured wiper blades were junk so I stopped in. Fully expecting to be ignored or treated like I’m dumb because I’m a woman alone in an auto parts store, but I was shocked when I was greeted the moment I stepped through the door. The man asked me what I was looking for and came out from behind the counter to not only show me direct to where I was going but also helped me find what I needed. I went to check out and thought my excellent customer service ended there but to my surprise, he came out and installed them on my car in the rain! I’ve never had another auto parts store do this for me and he told me they do instant installs on blades, bulbs & batteries. I highly recommend stopping in if you need auto care items and letting David help you!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
