  After I told the lead technician I wasn't interested in any add on sales he walked away from my vehicle and didn't come back to the car again. Another tech finally came over and finished up. I thought this was an extremely childish reaction.

  I had an appointment in the Belden area and decided to utilize the shop at 4607 Belden Village Street NW, North Canton, OH. I needed an oil change and a tire rotation & balance and both of those things happened...and so did the following: 1. Loose & Damaged Under-Body Shield from clips not being re-installed OR replaced 2. Chipped Front Bumper from dropping equipment on it 3. Car now shakes -- assumingly improper balancing / misalignment or not receiving that service The three gentlemen on the shop floor that assisted with the top end maintenance where kind, personable and quick - I find this to be the standard and is why I have always used Valvoline. However, there was an issue with the removal and re-install of the skid plate/under-body shield. The gentleman at the bottom side of the bay was very vocal about his distain for skid plates. I did giggle to myself because I had been made aware at my last Valvoline trip in Phila, that they are difficult to remove and reinstall, especially on the new car models. He still reassured me they would be properly re-installed -- and at the Phila location they were. After leaving the Belden location: there is 1 (one) bolt and 6 zip-ties holding the underbody-shield to the lower engine cover. How do I know this? The "passenger side" of the aluminum shield fell out of the engine cover as I was driving past Belden Village Mall. I pulled into a parking lot, got under the front end of my car and saw the shield hanging down and bent. Considering I was on a time-crunch at this point, I was able to zip-tie the shield to the cover as a temporary fix until I could get back to Valvoline at Belden to get this remedied. I was not able to make it to Valvoline before 7pm close time since my appointment ended at 7pm as well. Which in hind-sight was probably best given how indignant I felt about the lack of care for not only my car, but the safety of myself and other drivers this could have impacted. There was also and incident where one of the technicians could not get the evacuator hose inserted properly so another technician came to assist. Once he successfully inserted to probe he "mic-dropped" the evacuator handle onto the bumper and chipped the paint. Which was impressive considering I have ceramic coating on the car, and keep up with the ongoing maintenance required to maintain longevity of the coating. Since chipping can and does occur while driving throughout the life of the car, I do expect chips to happen of course, hence the purchase of ceramic coating. I do not, expect them to happen during an oil change, especially at such a reputable business. Considering I needed a tire rotation, I was asked to switch from the bay I was in for the oil change to the other bay for equipment purposes and I gladly did so. I got out of the car and they started doing their thing. One of the gentlemen rolled one of the tires to me showing me there was a screw going through the tread of my tire and that it had not penetrated the inner liner of the tire as no air was leaking from it and it was holding the correct pressure. He asked if I wanted him to remove it, I said "No. Just incase it has penetrated the liner and since you guys don't patch, leave it there and I will take it to get serviced at my Honda dealership." He said ok and carried on. After I said my "Thank Yous" and "Have a Good Day", I get down the road and my car is now shaking and the shield falls down, almost completely detaching and is now bent. I initially thought the shaking was from the shield catching wind while moving, but after I did my temporary fix for the shield, the car was still shaking...another reason I intended to go back to Valvoline. Now I know that tire balancing is not an inclusion when getting a rotation nor is replacing necessary hardware for reattachments from Valvoline, I will be going back to performing the maintenance of my vehicle, myself. The convenience of Valvoline and I could say fair pricing for the services, no longer holds true. Do better boys. **They were very friendly considering my RBF
