- RRRebekkahSep 11, 20251.0I came in to return a wiper blade that I had purchased online but didn't realize wouldn't work on my car, despite the AutoZone website saying it would. The sales associate I interacted with was incredibly condescending and asked me if I was sure that the wiper didn't fit on my car. (I was.) He told me the AutoZone website said it would work. (I know, that's why I had originally purchased it.) He then proceeded to show a complete lack of courtesy while putting a new wiper blade on my car. We went in and out the doors a couple of times, and he let the doors close behind him—and on me—each time. He then made a big fuss about me only having the emailed order confirmation to return the wiper blade that didn't fit, even though it seemed very easy for him to call AutoZone customer service to look up the transaction number. At a certain point, he just disappeared without telling me what was going on. Throughout, it was unclear if he was talking to me or to one of his fellow associates. This man should not be working in retail until he learns some common courtesy. It made for an incredibly frustrating experience, even though I knew exactly what I needed for my car and it should have been an easy, painless transaction. Needless to say, I will not be going to this AutoZone location again, and this interaction was so unpleasant that I won't be buying anything from any AutoZone location or its website in the future.
