- WCWinter ChevalierFeb 22, 20265.0Went in not too long ago looking for a battery for my car and tbh I didn't know exactly what kind I needed so I went up to one of the counters and asked the lady, Jordan, if she would be able to help me out and what would be the best option for me, she did a great job helping me out and getting me the best thing for my car, I know its a small thing but for someone having a pretty crap day, having someone be genuinely helpful and not treat me like I'm dumb is nice. So 10/10. She was amazing and honestly it made me feel better about everything.
- SMSarah McClainJan 30, 20265.0I brought Our jeep to this location today due to our cars oil pressure light coming on on my way to New Lexington and I just wanna say They went above and beyond to help me. Our car ended up needing towed but I had to leave immediately to go grab necessities for Our Children in enough time to catch a ride home with transit so I wasn't stranded miles from home so They offered to keep my keys and make sure the tow truck driver got them when He arrived which helped make this horribly stressful situation easier. There was probably 6 workers in the store this evening and each and every one of them was kind and helpful. Good people and good service Advanced Auto. 😊

My check engine light came about four miles out from the dealership which the service center was closed. When I got to New Lexington I stopped in to get a diagnoses. Unfortunately the Dealership did not clear all the codes but the Advance employee cleared them for me! Thank you for giving me peace of mind.

Yes we do offer free battery installation on most products with purchase. We will also recycle and test your battery for free regardless if you bought it from us. Battery testing and installation is available at most of our locations.

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.
What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.
How much does a car battery cost?
A traditional lead/acid car battery can range between $60-$120. The difference in cost comes from a variety of things, like the size of the vehicle or any special requirements needed from the battery, i.e. an increased resistant to cold or hot climates. Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
