It was the first snowfall of the year and I had gone out to defrost my car and when I lifted my passenger side wiper up and the latch broke. I had to drive 25 minutes to pick up my grandson and wanted to stop and get a new wiper blade on my way home. I called Advanced Auto Parts and spoke with Doug. I explained my circumstances and that I didn't want to take my new grandbaby out of the car in the weather. I told him I didn't need it put on (I wasn't far from home). Doug took the make/model of my car, pulled a wiper and had it ready for me when I got there. I called him and he came out, told me how much the wiper would be and I handed him my card. He came back out with my card, the receipt and the wiper blade. When he came back out, he handed me the card and receipt and promptly walked around the front of my car and installed the wiper blade. As a Grandmother with a newborn grandchild, I was so happy to find someone like Doug. Because of this experience, we will be going to Advanced Auto for our mechanical needs from now on.

He stated he would put the light in for me, even though I did not ask him to put the bomb in. He just wanted to make sure the bolb worked. It worked, I thothis was a kind and helpful gesture.
