- MLMichael LauingerJul 26, 20231.0The first thing I rate a gas station on whether or not they caught they keep their washer pins full. These were all dry as a bone. The place was seedy. The pump wouldn't give me a receipt. The Man Behind the Counter couldn't speak any English I could understand. And somebody had dropped an object, a phone cord, just outside the doors, and the attendant didn't even want it for lost and found, in case somebody came looking for it. Pretty much beyond unimpressed.
