  Amazing experience. They got my vehicle checked in quickly, took a quick test drive to understand my concern and started their inspection immediately. My only regret is they couldn't tell me what the precise issue was, because this shop specializes and doesn't work on transmissions, which is where they suspect my concern is. Based on their inspection, they offered their best recomendations for work needed (which they could provide) in the not-too-distant-future and ball-park costs, so I can do some financial preparations, as well. And, their free inspection was actually FREE! I will return for that future work, based on this visit.

  Tires were decently priced but they dont tell you until it’s time to pay there’s an additional charge of $36 per tire for installation, alignment, etc. so that makes your total $144 more than you expected. I was told to come back later in the week so they could check my lug nuts to make sure they weren’t loose instead of just making sure they were tight when they installed them.

  I went to Monroe for an alternator change a few months ago. I was told 1hr left when I arrived to pick my car up. It was about 6hrs later that the mechanic was finally ‘done’. I listened to him scream, curse, throw and slam things the entire time. He handed me the keys and just left. I broke down on the way home. He never tightened my battery terminals, broke the clip holding the new alternator and had all my wires crossed and tangled. I had to pay another shop to repair this. Cost $200 (Monroe has still NEVER PAYED ME BACK FOR THIS, despite them telling me it was ‘on the way’) after the clip was fixed I broke down the next day. The alternator they used was no good. I had to pay another shop to fix this again. After missing work for nearly a week needing 2 more tows and having to pay another shop this alternator job cost me a lot of money. It took months for them to reimburse the alternator change and they have never payed for what their mechanic broke on my car. I’ve made numerous calls to many people within the company and it gets you nowhere. I’m not sure if the shop or corporate are more incompetent. Your better off finding another shop or you take a risk of their mechanics not being knowledgeable knowing what they are actually doing and are fine handing you your keys to drive an unsafe vehicle. Don’t even trust this place with an oil change.

  Joe was extremely rude and unprofessional. He was not only rude to us, but to another customer that came in and a customer that called to inquire about a service. I don’t usually write reviews, but this one needed to be written. We came in and he was upset that the car was an enterprise rental. When he went out to get it he couldn’t find it so my boyfriend opened the door to let him know which car it was and he was rude with him about it. A customer called and asked about a service and he told them he had other things to do so he didn’t have time for them and hung up on them. The tech that actually did the oil change was great and fast! I unfortunately did not get his name.
