- GAGary AndersonNov 6, 20251.0I have a Valvoline horror story: So yesterday I took my car up to valvoline to get a quick oil change - went about 3 pm, not busy pulled right in. So at Valvoline they use a new system to extract the oil - called the eVac system. They remove the dip stick and stick a long plastic straw down the dip stick tube and down to the oil pan, vacuum out the oil. Red light one - they struggle getting that straw down the dip stick tube. So got it empty, put oil back in it, filled all fluids blah blah blah. Now it’s time to remove the plastic tube - it gets stuck, they push it in, pull it out, twist it, and nothing is working - couple people try and after a long time of trying to get it out - the plastic tube finally breaks off - with half still in my dip stick tube. They had to have my car towed to a shop to have it fixed, and had to get me a rental car - which I’m picking up this morning. Hopefully that shop gets it fixed today.

All technicians including the manager were very friendly. They explained thoroughly what was done. My first time there and will surely return for other services.
