  On our first visit there wasn’t an employee to guide us in. We did fine on our own. On our second visit, the employee guiding us in insisted we get much too close to a big truck in front of us. When the big truck stopped at the end, our car - still on the track - ran into it. There wasn’t any way for us to avoid it. The truck wasn’t damaged but we now have a dent in our bumper. We will never go here again.

  If you don't have a membership, it's really expensive for what it is. The wash doesn't do s great job getting everywhere (e.g. the back of my car was still a mess) and the dryers only sometimes get everything dry... I use it maybe twice a year... And even that I think is too much.

  I trusted Tommy’s Express in Lewis Center with my 2022 Toyota Tundra and left with clear, directional scratches on the rear quarter panel and fender flare. When I filed a claim, they immediately denied responsibility. Their justification? A low-resolution, glare-filled still image from inside the tunnel that supposedly shows the scratches “already there.” The problem is the scratches are not visible in that image. The panel appears uniform. Anyone looking at the current damage can see it’s pronounced and directional — it would be obvious if it existed prior to entering. Instead of taking accountability or even seriously investigating, they leaned on generic disclaimers and claimed that because “hundreds of vehicles” were washed that day without complaint, their equipment couldn’t be responsible. That logic ignores the reality that automated wash damage can be vehicle-specific and localized. The most frustrating part isn’t the scratches — it’s the dismissive handling of the claim. No transparency. No meaningful review. Just a scripted denial and a suggestion to “let insurance deal with it.” If you care about your vehicle’s finish, understand that if something happens, you’re likely on your own.
