That’s not a warranty. If you advertise it as a warranty, you should cover any replacements needed in the future. If you are not going to fully replace the windshields at no cost or a small replacement fee, you should change the wording on your “WARRANTY”

- VJVictor johnNov 28, 20251.0I was forced to use Safelight by my insurance company. The first issue is only partially their fault but it contributed to an unhappy outcome. I paid my insurance company extra for an auto glass rider to my auto insurance. When I needed it I was told that it didn’t cover OEM parts. I had to pay $285.00 extra in addition to my premiums and paying for a rider to get glass with the jeep insignia on it. On the day of the install I had not heard anything from Safelight by 2 pm (appointment was 12-5 but I figured I’d hear from the installer) so I called them. They could not give me any info, so I assumed there was an issue. They put me on hold and contacted another installer. He eventually called me but informed me he wouldn’t arrive until 4:40pm or later. By now it was late and it was starting to get dark. By the time he arrived it was dusk and this install was outside on the street with poor lighting. He performed the install quickly and called me back to the vehicle. By now it was dark. I did the best I could to examine the install. Hard to do in the dark. He informed me that he was not the original installer and he had to drive all the way up north to get the glass. He also told me I could not drive the vehicle for an additional amount of time! This made me late for a meeting a previously scheduled meeting! I was already mad about the additional cost and the hassle. He left. I only drove the vehicle to work the next day which is downtown streets and I didn’t exceed 35mph. On the next day I had to drive on the freeway. My vehicle now had a rattle at freeway speeds that was not there before the install. It was obvious he dropped something down into the body of the car. Understandable since he was doing the install in the dark. I will now have to fight back through this to get this rattle fixed. THIS IS THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF WHAT THEIR TV COMMERCIALS PORTRAY! Totally unhappy!!!!!
