He listened to my questions and offered options honestly and completely without being pushy. I added a transmission and radiator flush as well as new wipers. - JCJim CampbellDec 15, 20255.0First off I'd like to say that I until this trip have always been anti Jiffy Lube and anti-quick Lube as these franchises are famously known for destruction of automotive parts in over tightening of drain plugs... while I was on a recent visit to family in ohio, my stepdaughter drives a 2017 Ford Escape that's always in bad need of maintenance, being is it's so close to Christmas I thought I would take her car to get the oil changed in it and have the tire pressures set... I phoned ahead of time in a very nice young lady quoted me a very reasonable dollar amount so I headed over to Huber Heights Jiffy Lube to have the service taken care of. Being a retired technician myself of 30 years experience in GM dealerships, I was very reluctant but it was the only place open and the price could not be beaten and Lord knows with my broken spine I'm not able to physically do it myself, and I needed my step daughter's car taken care of so I decided to this time and trust these "oil guys"... Right off the bat I was professionally and friendly greeted, even though it was 10° outside which I felt bad for them, they guided me into the bay and proceeded to do their job. I had already known the condition of the tires and where they needed to be moved to my only curiosity was what did the transmission look like as far as fluid cleansiness. Carter was at my driver side front door and no time with this tablet, we exchanged pleasantries as then he asked about my Automotive experience and I had explained to him that I was retired after 30 years and then he proceeded to humbly ask me where tires belong on a vehicle and we had a pleasant conversation about that and I described him the reasons why and so forth.. the other two gentlemen understood my request for the oil drain plug to be not over tightened but to be set at a certain foot pound and also exactly how tight I wanted the oil filter so it was not over tightened but not leaking at the same time.. everybody was very nice very professional and very efficient and everything that they did and when I left the facility I felt safe and secure that everything was done properly. Carter had come up to the window and told me the price which blew my doors off and I explained to him the price that I was already told and quoted, to which he very pleasantly said I will take care of that and I will let it be done for this price that's not an issue, the price he told me was double what I was told on the phone by a very nice young lady that I pointed out the number two on my phone and he understood who I had talked to, that was the only slight hang up in the entire service.. he was very quick to get a hold of another manager who told him exactly what to do and how to do it and then him and I made an arrangement to final the bill once I got back to my home state of Florida and the charges were refunded and seen as refunded in my account as I would make it right with him. Overall I had a very surprisingly pleasant experience with this location and their crew, they were knowledgeable efficient understanding professional courteous and very friendly.. I'm not going to say I would go as far as trusting them with my wife's new Honda Civic 😆 THAT goes to the dealership only, but anybody else's vehicle I would definitely say that this is an okay crew to handle a simple oil change or simple maintenance on their vehicle Thanks guys for taking care of my family's vehicle, thank you for the understanding the professionalism in the friendliness, I very much appreciate it
