I scheduled a 0800 chip repair with Gerber Glass through Glass America, showed up about 15 minutes early at their shop, and dropped my car off. The chip repair went pretty well, it's not perfect but it beats replacing my whole windshield. Turns out they have a lifetime warranty on repairs and will credit the price of the repair to the cost of a windshield if it ever fails. I hope I don't need their warranty. :P All in all, a pretty good experience, and they even knocked off a few bucks because I went to their shop to have it done rather than have a tech come out to me. I will definitely use them again.
