  After 185 days of pure foolishness from Gerber Collision & Glass of Fairfield I finally got the truck back last Friday. I took my truck on 1/25 and the original completion date was 3/18. This turned into them stating it would be ready 4/8, 4/29, and 5/6. Then they proceed to inform me that the ABS module was on back order, and given it was part related I had to return the rental they agreed to provide me. I own a truck for a reason. I have three active boys and coach Football. This requires me to haul athletic equipment including a single man blocking sled, blocking pads, tackling, dummies and other items which require a large vehicle. I was beyond disgusted with customer service and inability to deliver. Communication was terrible but i was patient initially. Once i had the rental I could comfortably transport my children and haul everything i need on a daily basis. Once removed due to the tardiness of delivery it caused a huge inconvenience. This is the worst experience i havd had in my 30 plus years of driving. Adding insult to injury had every excuse in the book including an employee's death in the family. Just today I received an invoice from Enterprise rental which should have been fairfield's expense, Yet I get a threatening letter from them. If I could give Fairfield zero stars I would. I've informed family and friends to avoid Gerber at all cost and provided feedback to Farmers insurance that they need to reconsider you all as a preferred vendor. I also find it interesting that they only post positive reviews on their Website . The email I received in response indicates they will pick and choose.

  Do not take your car here for anything! We were re ended and had to have the back bumper replaced. My car was at the shop for about a month, when we picked my car back up we had a bumper that had paint drips on it along with the bumper poped out on both sides of the vehicle. After showing them the issues they replaced the bumper but while waiting for the new one to come in, we found that our back trunk latch had been super glued back together, I had a seat belt completely detached from where it is bolted down to the frame and brake lights not working. We used this company because our insurance recommend them...biggest mistake taking my vehicle here. Very poor workmanship.
