  Yesterday morning I tried to start my car and it wouldn't turn over. I'm currently traveling for work, so I'm 3.5 hours away from home. Needless to say, I was in a bad spot. I called Monro and explained the situation, and they were very understanding. I got my battery jumped and drove it to thier shop, and they had tested the battery, the starter, the alternater, and replaced the battery within an hour. They really saved my bacon, and I can't say anything but good things about the shop and their team. Highly recommend!

  My son is in college for his first year in Defiance, oh. I am 3 hours away. I called Monro to have them put a tire on my son's vehicle because he had a doughnut on it after a flat and was very inexperienced with things like this. I advised Monro exactly what I wanted them to do for my son when he got there because he was alone and didn't know what to do. I was quoted a price of $147.22 for a tire. Not only did the charge him more, but they did additional work that was not authorized AND made my son pay the amount just to get his car back!!!! They were only supposed to change a tire. They took it upon themselves to add services and charges. Over almost $250 worth of stuff! Here I am, 3 hours away and fuming mad. I plan on contacting the BBB. They definitely took advantage of the situation, me not being there and my son having no knowledge of how to handle the situation. I would never recommend Monro Tire Shop. Horrible experience!!!!!!

  I got my transmission cooler lines replaced. They ordered they wrong parts at first, so ended up having my vehicle longer than expected.Then they did not put transmission fluid back into my vehicle before releasing it to me.

  They helped me out a lot! Had a rounded off of nut and they got it off. Since they didn't have a spare, they didn't even charge me for the service. Brought my car back later that day to get a full brake pad replacement and they fit me right in and didn't charge me an arm and a leg.
