- D_Danielle __Oct 31, 20255.0My 8+ year old battery finally died on my Equinox. I called Autozone and asked them if they’d put a new one in if I bought it there. The guy on the phone assured me they would so I got a jump and headed over. They were busy, phones ringing the whole time I was getting rung up, all 3 guys working well to help customers. The store manager Mack was the one who helped me, and he provided top notch customer service. He checked my battery, starter, alternator, and replaced my battery. I was in and out in probably 15 minutes, set for another 5 years on my battery. Thank you Mack and Autozone for taking a potentially stressful day and turning it around. You just don’t get friendly customer service like this guaranteed anymore.
