My car was taken here to be fixed because they are a preferred place for the insurance company it was parked in a parking lot where it was hit Bat and Steven's did the estimate and scheduled the repairs then did the work before the insurance company gave the ok and charged me 1250 for the back bumper and would not give me my car after I told them if the insurance isn't going to cover all the repairs only the repairs that are covered will be done I would not recommend these crooks to work on a bicycle because they just do what they want and then want the owner to pay for it it was supposed to be covered by the insurance company and they only covered the front bumper and not the back so my opinion is they should have never touched the back but did any ways then they tell me that they blended the pain and they did not all they did was paint the bumpers and put them on the car no paint blend what so ever so 10 out of 10 do not recommend

I was involved in a car vs deer accident this past winter and brought my vehicle to Batt & Stevens on February 4th for repairs. I was told initially that my vehicle would be completed February 18-23rd. Prior to Feb 18th, Batt and Stevens reached out and informed me they were having some issues with my insurance company and it would be closer to the beginning of March. I was understanding of that situation and thankful for the update. Spoiler alert, this is the only time Batt and Stevens actually provides an explanation for a delay.
The beginning of March rolls around and my vehicle still isn’t completed. I received a voicemail saying that my vehicle was being prepped for paint and it would be completed on March 15th (which was a Sunday). I called back to ask for clarification knowing the shop was closed on Sunday. I offered to either pick it up Friday evening or Monday morning. I was then informed it was not going to be done by March 15th and they were looking at the end of the following week for completion. Again, no explanation was provided as to the 3rd delay now.
I decided to go into the shop the following Thursday morning. I figured they would have a harder time just pushing me off if I showed up in person. I was very friendly and simply asked if I can expect my vehicle to be done by tomorrow (Friday) as promised. I was informed by staff that it would be done tomorrow “late afternoon” and the staff assured me they would call me when it was completed. I waited all day Friday with no phone call and finally went in at 4:30pm, a half hour before closing time. I was told my vehicle was still not done and to come back Monday. At this point I shook my head and said no, I need my vehicle today.
The one positive thing I will say is that the staff did stay over almost 2 hours after close to finish my vehicle after I refused to accept a 5th attempt at a delay. I waited in their parking lot during this time and finally had my vehicle back at 6:40pm.
I’m not writing this to slander a small business and I’m attempting to be as objective as possible because in reality, I’m actually extremely disappointed in Batt and Stevens. I had to pay out of pocket for a rental car just to be able to get to work, which is no fault of Batt and Stevens, but the constant delays and push backs had me hemorrhaging money weekly with no end in sight. A little honest communication would have gone a long way here.
All feelings aside, I’d like for future customers to be aware that the completion date of my vehicle was pushed back four times (almost five) and three of which I was given no explanation as to why. It came down to me going into the shop, refusing to accept another push back, and waiting in their parking lot for almost 2 hours for my vehicle to be completed.
If that’s the kind of service you are looking for, then Batt and Stevens is the business for you.
***4/2/26- Editing this review to provide an update. The regional manager of Collision Right, who bought Batt and Stevens this past December reached out to me tonight after reading this review. He was very apologetic and transparent about some of the issues the shop has been facing during their transition period to new ownership and an unexpected influx of customers. He offered to refund me my $500 deductible and assured me that if I did ever come back, I would not have a repeat this experience. He also explained the steps he and the shop are taking to ensure this doesn’t happen to anyone else.
While this doesn’t negate what happened with Batt and Stevens, I did very much appreciate the phone call and recouping some of my money blown on rental cars during the entire process. It means a lot that they were willing to have a transparent conversation and make things right.
I’m not one to leave bad reviews and I don’t consider myself a “Karen” however I did want to share my honest experience and in doing so, it was important that I provide this update. Thank you Batt and Stevens for striving to do better.

Communication was very poor. Only time I was able to get information was when I called. Was told I'd be called to be given an update and that never happened. So I had to call again *over 4-5 times to get updates as completion dates kept changing. As my insurance company made me go to this company id most likely not go back again....As I cannot post a reply to your incorrect information you posted I'll just up date my post. Dates Called *March 19th, March 13th (Told I'd be called on the 12 with update and never happened, March 12. So it is not every other day as you posted
