  We have purchased or leased our last three vehicles from Dave Dennis and had no issues with the sales team. I do however have an issue with the service department. Over the last year, there were a few annoying things like scheduling errors, confusion on what services were completed, etc. the final straw for me was this past time when I took it in for a recall to be fixed. After I picked up my vehicle, I was driving home and realized the mechanic had left USED nicotine pouches in my cup holder. The real kicker is that the recall they were fixing was on my door and ironically enough, I keep a trash can in my door. If they would have thrown their used pouches in the trash can- no harm, no foul- I wouldn’t have even known. But to leave them in a cupholder of a nice suv?? ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I called and complained, figured a manager would call me back- nope. I left a negative review on the survey emailed to me- silence. At this point, even if someone does contact me about this issue, it will be pointless. I will never be back.

  My wife and I purchased a 2023 Jeep Wrangler this past Sunday from Dave Dennis Chrysler Jeep in Beavercreek, and the experience was outstanding. Our salesman, John Gruza, was truly second to none. John was professional, personable, and extremely knowledgeable about their inventory. Unlike many salespeople, he created a relaxed, no-pressure environment. He even allowed us to take the Jeep for a test drive on our own, while also offering to join us if we preferred. John is one of the most gracious and respectful salesmen we’ve encountered in the Dayton area.   I recently had the opportunity to engage with Ethan, a knowledgeable young sales representative, while exploring options for a pickup truck or Jeep. He demonstrated exceptional product knowledge, answered my questions comprehensively, and approached our conversation without applying any pressure, instead inquiring about my specific needs. Although I did not find the ideal vehicle at the dealership during my visit, I am confident that if I find the right fit, Ethan will handle the transaction with professionalism. I would like to commend Ethan on his exemplary service and integrity; he is the first salesperson I have encountered who has made a lasting impression, particularly given his youth.

  I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with Dave Dennis Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. I brought my vehicle in for a recall and was given a loaner car with a valid signed agreement. Just a few days later, without ever contacting me, the dealership reported the loaner vehicle as stolen. Because of their mistake, I was pulled over by multiple police officers, approached at gunpoint, ordered out of the vehicle, forced to walk backwards, handcuffed, and placed in a police car for over an hour. This was one of the most terrifying experiences I’ve ever gone through, and it was completely avoidable. At no point did the dealership attempt to call or verify anything with me before reporting the vehicle stolen. During the stop, officers contacted the dealership and confirmed it was their error. What’s even more disappointing is the lack of accountability afterward. No one from the dealership reached out to address what happened. The only communication I received was about my repair bill, not the serious situation they caused. This situation shows a major failure in communication and responsibility. Something like this should never happen to a customer. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership. I strongly encourage others to think twice before trusting them with your vehicle.
