  This visit was quick and they were helpful! No pressure to upsell. I only got 1 headlight bulb changed. My old ones was dim, and only 6 months old, but I wanted to error on the side of being cautious, so I went and got another one just so it wouldn't go out in the middle of winter. Unfortunately, today, I noticed the light is not working at all now. I will be taking it to another location tonight to have them look at it (because the Bethel Rd is not convenient for me to go to today). I didn't give them 5 starts, because I have noticed after getting home there is oil all over my car from the tech's hands / gloves / clothing. This visit, I saw him grab a clean white cloth / tissue and he did wipe off something, but this morning I saw so much more on the car. My car is while, so it shows easily. It's just annoying to have to wipe it off, since they know they are covered in oil and that it gets on the vehicles when they lean on them to do the work or touch the door handles to scan the VIN number, etc. A little more care would go a long way!

  The staff were welcoming and friendly. They explained the process. They explained why I needed what I needed. But they didn’t apply tremendous pressure when I passed on certain services.

  I took my Jeep to Valvoline for a standard oil change. The vehicle was running normally when I dropped it off. After the service, I drove home and sat in the vehicle while on a phone call. During that time, I noticed a rough idle and vibration. Concerned, I shut the vehicle off and looked underneath—oil was leaking everywhere, leaving a heavy trail on the street. I immediately contacted the store. The manager came out and stated the “filter seal was faulty.” While I had doubts about that explanation, I accepted it at the time. However, from that point on my Jeep has had ongoing issues: rough idling and stalling when idling. As coordinated with the Valvoline manager, I took the vehicle to Jeep Dublin for an independent diagnostic. Their initial assessment indicated engine damage from possible oil starvation, which aligns with the events: the Jeep was fine before the oil change, but immediately afterward began experiencing problems following a major oil loss. Later, however, when Valvoline representatives (Regional Manager Mico and Store Manager Tyler) visited Jeep Dublin in person, the diagnosis inexplicably changed to “mileage and age.” This raises concerns, especially given: 1. The Jeep ran normally before the oil change and issues began only after. 2. Tyler originally told me the vehicle needed a certain amount of oil, but later, when speaking with Mico, the quantity the jeep required suddenly change to a lesser amount. 3. Jeep Dublin’s diagnostic report shifted after direct conversations with Valvoline management. I was told the diagnostic at Jeep Dublin would be covered by Valvoline. It has now been over a week and a half, and I have received no confirmation of payment, no update on retrieving my vehicle and Mico (regional manager called with the store manager and said he is denying the claim for any repairs. What should have been a routine oil change has turned into a serious situation resulting in possible engine damage, conflicting information, and delays.
