  I have used this location several times in the last few years. Staff is always nice and does a very good job of explaining what they are seeing and what they can do to fix it. Prices are always discussed prior to anything moving forward which I feel has been fair and reasonable. Will continue to go here for anything planned and more importantly, unplanned

  I left with more problems than what I originally had when I brung my car in. I was indirectly called a liar when I complained about my issue after my car was “repaired “ I was told I had issues that were not found the first time I had the inspection ( how convenient) but they had no problem fixing the issues As long As I paid Again they issues started when i picked my vehicle up from being “ repaired “

  Janean from the initial phone call to the actual service I was treated with warm professional service . the place is very clean and comfortable to sit and wait .. I was able to do a zoom meeting with comfort. the mechanics in the shop worked with care and ease thank you for getting me back on the road . they saved me so much I can't explain how happy I am .

  I had a gentleman named Calin put 4 new tires on my sports car and I had a great perfetional experience with tuffy at the west broad location. I can be a little particular about my car and the mechanic gave great care to my sports car!

  If I could leave negative 5 stars I would. These people are money hungry scammers who prey on people who they think don’t know any better. I went there because there was a scraping noise when making a sharp left turn around my front passenger side tire. They said they did a full inspection then and told me that I needed new tires and brakes. They did my brakes and that was fine. However a few months later the noise was back. Experiencing financial issues I waited to have them check it again. Back in the end of November I took it back to them. They once again did a full inspection while I waited. They told me that I needed front lower ball joints, cv axle, a new battery and new tires. I got my two front tires changed there but red flags were going off because I had just had my oil changed and my battery was perfectly fine. The amount that they were trying to charge me for all of this was over $2100. Called a family member who is a mechanic (lives in a different state) who told me that I should get a second opinion. So I took the car back to the place where I purchased it. There, I was told nothing was wrong with my car but that I may need to get two more tires. Noise was still happening. So against better judgement, I went back to Tuffy’s West Broad. The very rude lady, Gin, then tried to incite fear. She showed me pictures and a video of what I thought was my car. I found out that I had warranty coverage. My warranty coverage sent an adjuster out to look at my car who Tuffy agreed that there was nothing wrong with my car. Gin told me then that she didn’t agree there was nothing wrong and that I needed to get it fixed. She got angry and started talking down to me when I told her what the adjuster and the other shop said and told me to come get my car. My fiancé went to pick up my car and she gave him another story. Just to be sure, I took my car to a 3rd mechanic whom I showed all emails, pictures and videos of what was supposed to be my vehicle. That mechanic did a full inspection. While my car was still on the rack, he walked me around the car and showed me everything Tuffy checked. Found out that the pictures they sent me were not of my car and that the problem was a plate that was bent so badly that when I made a sharp left turn it was bumping up against one of my ball joints making the noise that I was hearing. Ball joints and cv axles as well as the bushings and assemblies were fine. Walked out of that shop with two new tires and the plate replaced and paid less than $400. Noise is completely gone and my car drives perfectly. DO NOT take your car to Tuffy’s on West Broad St! They are dishonest and the lady Gin is a rude and vindictive person! Had they been honest, they would have had a customer for life! This time they messed with the wrong one!!!! Whomever owns this location needs to think about who they have working for them.
