Absolutely terrible customer service. Tires weren’t mounted properly less than a year ago, and now 2 out of 5 tires are consistently leaking — including the spare, which drops 30 PSI within a week of airing it up.
I made an appointment for 3:30 PM, left work early to be on time, and was told by James that the wait would be 1.5 to 2 hours (or more). I asked what the point of making an appointment was if I’d still have to wait that long for an issue that shouldn’t exist in the first place. James then began explaining how tires are installed — which I cut short because clearly they weren’t installed correctly the first time.
He then questioned why I waited so long to come in. I explained that colder weather makes the leaks more obvious. His response? “Well, either way, it’s gonna be 2 hours.” I expressed my frustration and concern, especially since my spare is unusable, and told him anyone would be upset after leaving work early to fix a mistake made by the same shop. He replied, “Well, I have a different personality, so I wouldn’t be frustrated.”
At that point, I asked to speak to someone else since he clearly wasn’t understanding my concerns. He walked back to the shop while the mechanics looked over and laughed. Another mechanic came out and was at least understanding, but still confirmed there’d be about a 2-hour wait — with “possible” delays even after that.
If you schedule appointments, you should have a clear idea of your service times and honor them, especially when the issue stems from your own previous work. I wasted time and money here for the last time. I called another shop right after — they serviced me immediately and even did it for free.
Pathetic experience overall.

Had tire discounters mount some tires I had (less than a year old) they checked them said they are good to be mounted. They ended up not doing their job correctly (I woulda know since I was a tech at this store when it opened up) 2 of the 5 tires mounted had significant bead leaks. It’s apparent they didn’t not clean the bead surface prior to mounting the tires (that I was charged almost $200 for) fast forward to trying to get this resolved, made an appointment for 3:30 and sent my wife in since it’s her jeep. Told her it might be 2 hours to get to it….a problem that could’ve been resolved had they done their job correctly. So now she’s furious; the sales associate ends up walking into the shop to the techs about it and they look over and start laughing. This shop used to run smooth when I worked there with Jim and Steve up front. Now it’s a place where I won’t be doing business with anymore. Extremely unprofessional sales staff. Complete joke. Waste of $200.

Made an appointment for 4, showed up at 3:45, and they didn’t get to my car until 5:05. All I needed was an alignment check. The staff were polite but it would have been helpful if they were more upfront about how long of a wait it would be
The #1 cause of uneven or rapid tire wear is misalignment. Your vehicle also may pull to one side or feel "loose" when steering, and you might even observe a drop in fuel economy. Alignment is critical to tire life and vehicle safety. In fact, if you install new tires on a misaligned vehicle, some manufacturers won't even honor your tire warranty. Everyday driving, potholes, hard turns, and sudden stops, gradually knock your wheels out of alignment. This wear is natural, but it can quickly chew through your tires. That's why Tire Discounters includes a FREE alignment ($129.99 value) when you purchase 4 tires installed. It's just another way we help you get more life (and more value) out of your tires.
