    They had left some poor person out to die when I picked up my truck for a cross-state move. Not only did they not have my original truck size when I showed up, but they had people waiting in line for hours, canceling moves, and keeping family members locked out of their house because of a lack of staffing. It wasn’t this guy’s fault, for clarification, but someone would pull up to the desk, and mid-transaction or mid key-fetch, the desk assistant would be forced to pick up a phone call that lasted anywhere from 10-30 minutes. The calls just kept coming and nobody was getting their truck. It wasn’t this guy’s fault, but people were getting furious. It was laughably bad, and the guy was so stressed that he dropped the phone and was sweating through his shirt. I’d rather not go to a call center to pick up my moving truck - we were one more answered call away from picking up a U-Haul. Don’t attempt it unless you really don’t have anywhere to be.
