- TRTara RouseOct 27, 20255.0I was in this past Friday evening picking up a online order for a battery that I had. When I tell you the two gentlemen who helped me out went above and beyond and some they truly did. It had already been an overwhelming week with this car and the fact it was Friday evening and I thought I was just picking up a battery for them to put it in my car for me and I would be in and out pretty quickly and of course something else went wrong. I was super stressed out considering I had my son's trunk or treat which was out in Grove City during rush hour. Logan and Casey at this location both did everything they could to make sure I made it on time. I'm super grateful and appreciate the hard work. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
