Of course I knew my chances of getting one was low after going to O'Reilly 's right next to them. I told the guy what I needed, showed him a picture of my tire and told him I wasn't sure what size I needed. Unlike the man at O'Reilly's he didn't try to help me find one. Didn't look on the computer wasn't willing to open the the boxes with the splines to see if any one of them fit. Didn't even recommend on how I would go about getting one. All I got was I don't know or I can't do that. I told him okay thank you and his response was nothing. Mind you the guy at O'Reilly's did all this for me...went out of he's way for me. He even went outside to help me...I'll be going there from now on. You're employee wasn't any helpful.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
