  To whom it may concern, I have been doing my car oil change for the last three years in this location, Valvoline on E kemper road. Went there for an oil change 03/06/26 at 6pm. After waiting in line for 40 min, they let me in, asked me to pop the hood, the “technician” looked at the coolant reservoir (I think it was low) and yelled I think we have “ACL” which I guessed he’s saying “something Coolant Leak”. The other “technician” came to the car, grabbed a flash light, literally looked at the radiator for 5 seconds and was like yes it’s ACL. I was like, what a geniuses running this place (both new guys btw), full diagnosis in seconds, no compression test, no codes, engine wasn’t overheating or anything. I looked at it, didn’t see any coolant leak, it’s not smelling like it. The guy came to my window, told me that he can’t do the oil change because of the engine coolant leak and they don’t have the filter for my car (2018 ford focus), he could’ve told me that before I waited but ok. Kinda surprised the place that mainly change oil and filters doesn’t have filters. I was like whoever running this place now clearly a “professional”. Got out of there, went straight to “take 5 oil change” next door, got the oil change, topped off the coolant. All good. I literally drove from Cincinnati to Xenia twice, and I am writing this in Indianapolis. Put almost 400 miles on the car since the oil change, running like a clock work. Long story short, get some professional to work in this location, whoever was there that day, are stupid to say the less.

  It was nice to not have to wait in line (lucky me), but they are quick about things anyway. I was able to ask questions and decline any other offers without pressure. Very convenient location too--off the road, on a corner, and near church.

  Went in to have my coolant exchanged after work and the two men that helped me were super helpful and it resolved my concerns

  A tech told me my transmission fluid was leaking. I had no leaks prior to this oil change. 3 days later I see drips in my driveway. Take it to my mechanic to look at the transmission. Nothing wrong with the transmission but oil was leaking from the broken oil filter cap and housing that they broke. The keeper rd store does not want to take responsibility for their mistake. Ive only had my oil changed by them since I got this vehicle 3 years ago. I have now lost my job because I cant get there with no vehicle. At this point the store wont even return my calls or emails. I have escalated my claim to the area manager. I sure hope this gets fixed because I will loose my house if I cant work. I have a child to take care of. We cant not be homeless. Dont even have a car to live

  Update: Manager of the store decided to start working directly with my husband to resolve the issue. Oil plug was successfully fixed and they took responsibility for their error. WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM VALVOLINE! Writing this review to warn others and on behalf of my husband. They will cause damage to your car, gaslight you, and then refuse to pay for their $1,400 screw up. If I could give negative stars, I would. My husband recently went for a routine oil change at this Valvoline location and they cross threaded his oil plug which now requires him to get his oil pan replaced which he was told would be a $1,400 repair because they “have to replace the entire oil pan”. He reached out to corporate and this specific store location, and they told him since the oil change was successful, there isn’t anything that they will do about the damage… no effort or offer to fix THEIR screw up. Excuse me? To be the direct cause of this oil pan replacement but not cooperate or accept responsibility for causing this damage is extremely unprofessional and I will never recommend anyone to ever go to a Valvoline. We are going to get our attorney involved. Run far, far away.
