  We went to a different location on Montgomery road near Kenwood the first time around. They overfilled the oil to the point that the burn off smoked out the entire building. An hour later they started from scratch and we thought they corrected the issue. Fast forward 3000 miles and we chose this location. Had an issue of an immediate oil leak following my oil change. We returned 2 days later. The tech (manager) was awesome. He could not identify what had caused the issue. He started from scratch, offered an apology and a few oil change for a future visit. It continued to leak, slowly. The leaking intensified. I returned to this location and explained the issues we had. They told me that the manager and the crew had all been replaced....and that said manger was at a different location helping them with "their numbers" and I would have to go see him for further help. Now out of time, I couldn't get to this new location immediately. When I did get to that location in Pleasant Ridge, I was told that he in fact did not work there. Explained the entire situation again. They inspected and said there was a leak from the oil pan and that they did not do this kind of service. They added oil to keep me going, and then charged me for it. For some reason they entered into the system as a full oil change, which it was not. Then they got the missing manager on the phone. He recalled the situation and instructed me to get it serviced and bring the repair estimate/bill back the this original location for compensation. So, that's exactly what I did. I received two separate quotes, one from a VW expert mechanic and anther from a VW dealership. They both concluded that the Oil was over pressurized due to being overfilled which caused two separate leaks and a repair in the amount of $1600. I contacted Valvoline customer service where a very kind young lady apologized and passed my info and complaint along to this location. She told me to send copies of estimates, repair bill and diagnostics to accompany the claim and that someone would contact me in 24-48 hrs. Within the hour, before I even had a chance to send documentation I received a call from the manager at this location. He was extremely rude and combative. He stated that the claim was being denied simply because the entire crew was new, and the crew that worked on my vehicle was gone. Wonder Why!!!! He refused to contact the service shop to verify my claim. He refused to research it in any way. I asked him for his bosses number, and was told that's simply not going to happen. I was sent back to the kind agent on the phone who was as taken aback as I was. She again apologized and promised to have the district manager contact me right away. Of course this did not happen. So now I am left with filing a complaint with the BBB and the States Attorney General, and should that lead to a similar result seek litigation, which I know neither of us wants to do. Had I been treaded with a little dignity the result could have been so much different. Long story short, avoid these guys. They are kind until they aren't.

  Do not rotate tires here. Technicians overtorqued my bolts on multiple occasions so couldn’t get my wheels off for subsequent tire rotations. On the last occasion, the floor manager accused me of lying about where I got my tires rotated previously (it was the same Valvoline). I submitted a claim that was never responded to, so I had to pay out of pocket for my dealership to fix the studs that were destroyed by Valvoline. They must not have the proper tools or be undertrained.
