- EPEthan POct 22, 20251.0I should have never brought my cars here, I should have gone back to Cincy Tint Shop where I’ve had my other cars tinted in the past. They do much better work than this place. The backstory, I had two vehicles tinted here earlier this year (a Jetta and an Expedition). I wanted tint applied over my Expedition’s factory tint to get the rear windows down to 10-15% What ended up happening was 10% film being applied over the factory tint, which was way too dark and it had to be redone to achieve the desired darkness. They offered to redo it for free since it was their mistake. When the time came, they had me sign a waiver for defroster damage during the tint removal process, which was not a concern to me at the time. After all, this is new tint film and any decent tint shop should be able to handle it without any problems right? Not the case here. The result was MAJOR defroster damage under the new tint. I don’t think there’s a single intact defroster line anymore. I am very disappointed with the service and quality of work at this location. I will source a new rear window with a good defroster grid for the Expedition and replace it myself but I will not be back here to have the new glass tinted, nor will I ever bring any of my cars to them again in the future. Avoid this tint place. Cincy Tint Shop does higher quality work. And I know from my previous business with them that my problems outlined above would’ve never happened if I’d gone to them instead.
