I recently visited Columbia Acura after a frustrating experience elsewhere, and I can’t say enough about how incredible this team was. Vijay, Service Manager and Jamey Moore immediately listened, took my concern seriously, and went above and beyond to make it right.
They didn’t dismiss the issue — they investigated, communicated clearly, and treated me with genuine respect. Within minutes, I felt confident I was in the right hands. This is what true customer care looks like.
Columbia Acura restored my faith in the Acura brand. I’ll happily drive the extra distance knowing my vehicle and safety are their top priority. 10/10

I had a very disappointing experience with this service department.
I first texted to get quotes for basic maintenance on 8/7:
Transmission fluid change - ($225)
Rear differential & transfer case fluid change - ($185)
Spark Plugs - At that time I was told spark plugs would require a valve adjustment, which seemed questionable since Acura’s own page suggests the adjustment only if you hear a noise and they hadn't seen the car, yet. Acura says it can wait till 150k and be checked around 100k. The quote I received for spark plugs and valve adjustment together was around $1,200. I declined the spark plugs & Valve Adjustment originally since they wouldn't price it out separately.
A few days before my appointment, my check engine light started to flash and the car started shaking. I suspected it was spark plugs and I had it towed in and asked them to inspect it. They confirmed it was directly related to the spark plugs, but this time, the quote for spark plugs alone was $650 ($250 for parts and $400 for labor at $200/hr. Apparently now they are able to price it out), and the valve adjustment was over $1,450. When I asked why the pricing was so different from my original quote, I was told it was due to “rusted bolts” and they'd need to drill them out. I requested photos and a video for clarification, but what I received didn’t show anything significant enough to justify the huge increase. They also "misspoke" on the rust for the spark plugs. It's 6 screws that were not rusted at all and came out with ease. (Also no video was sent of the "ticking" noise they heard). The ONLY “rusted” or at all damaged bolts were a few on the valve cover that they rounded off when trying to remove it before doing the spark plugs.
During the call, the valve adjustment was “re-quoted” at $1,200 (Still without the Spark Plugs) because of a small part change, which didn’t make sense given the earlier explanation. Overall, the pricing seemed inconsistent and I felt pressured to agree to extra work. Seemed like all they cared about was racking up expensive unneeded work before fixing the actual issue in a way that makes financial or even mechanical sense, and in no real hurry.
I ended up declining the service. I paid their diagnostics fee and picked up my car. Replaced the spark plugs myself for about $150 in parts after watching a YT video. It took about an hour with basic tools. I was ignored yesterday when trying to schedule for fluid changes. No call back and no response to my text. I was never hostile throughout the entire process, but I do not appreciate being taken for a ride. I've scheduled the fluid changes at a different dealership later this week at a cheaper rate.
I just wish Columbia Acura were able to communicate with me fairly and have stuck with its original pricing, but apparently this is too much to ask of them.

Used car dept. Thurs afternoon called to get quote and confirm availability on Friday to test drive. Friday morning drove there and they tell me it was sold the night before. Did not bother to call to inform. Totally disrespectful of my time and self. Had to make arrangements at work to be there only to be told that. Very poor customer service.
